Hurraaay!!!

Congratulations to my favorite girl DELAMAR.  I just learned that she is pregnant!

When I was younger, it was Del who taught me that its OK to be a girl and to be smart, independent and opinionated.

And now, she taught me that its OK to be a young, career oriented, unmarried pregnant woman.  This for me is the ultimate example of girl power.  Its having to choose the option we think is the best for ourselves regardless of what society thinks. 

Our life should not be dictated by people who think they know better.  As my favorite line from a Bon Jovi song goes:
"It's my life. 
And its now or never.
I ain't gonna live forever,
I just wanna live while I'm alive"


But now, I'm just looking forward to seeing her pregnant :-)
