A Record for the Shortest

I guess it’s a record, and that’s what matters.

Personally, I will never be proud to be the “smallest” in anything. But I guess, one has to be proud of who and what they are. This goes for Junrey Balawing of Sindangan, Philippines, who has just been recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world’s shortest man. He stands 23.5 inches (60 centimeters).

That’s another record for a Filipino and one more reason for our countrymen to smile.
